24 Carrot Island Walkthrough
In 24 Carrot Island, you must help a ravaged town solve the mystery of its disappearing carrots. During the course of this quest, you will encounter the evil villain Dr. Hare and try to put a stop to his diabolical plans to steal all of the carrots on the island. You can complete the entire quest easily if you follow all the steps in this 24 Carrot Island Walkthrough.
Starting Out in 24 Carrot Island
As soon as you arrive on 24-carrot island, go left to the Carrot Farm. Ignore the farmer and go into the house next to him through the chimney. Go a few steps to the right and you’ll get an empty bowl that’s on the floor near the couch. Next return to the outside of the house by going into the fireplace and back up through the chimney. Return to Main Street, where you arrived by balloon. Now walk a little bit over to the right and go inside the diner. If you speak with the waitress inside the diner, she can fill the empty bowl that you found inside the farmhouse with milk. Once the bowl has milk in it, go back to the Carrot Farm and re-enter the house through the chimney.
Walk a few steps to the right. Take a more steps and as you go by the spot where you found the empty bowl, you’ll place the full bowl down on the floor. Head all the way to the right and then go up to the second floor. Walk to the left until you reach the tub at the far end. Turn on the water in the bathtub and a cat will jump out of the tub. The cat will move along slowly if you follow him. Keep going until you and the cat go all the way downstairs. The cat will be very happy to see the bowl of milk and will drink it. The cat becomes your friend and will follow you. Once again, go outside the farmhouse and the cat will follow you. Next go right to return to Main Street.
Now go right past the diner and the theater and go into Charlie’s Carrot Surplus Co. Walk to the right and talk to the woman standing next to the counter wearing the apron. Talk with the woman and she’ll give you a crowbar as a reward for finding her lost cat.
Go back outside and run to the right. Go to the next area, called the Factory. Go a few more paces to the right once you arrive in the next area. Leap up onto the roof to find the vent blueprint. The blueprint will help you get through the maze of passageways inside the factory. Jump down the right side of the building and you’ll see a pipe near some old barrels floating in the water. Click on the grate covering the pipe. You’ll use the crowbar to open it up. Then go inside.
Factory Entrance
Run left through the pipe and pick up the Carrot Transporter. You probably won’t need it. Now jump up the left side of the pipe and then right to the right back over the valves that open and shut. To get past this section, just stand near the edge and be patient. Move across as each one starts to close and you’ll be fine. Try to run across just one opening at a time. A few of them open and close really fast, so watch your timing.
In the next section, you’ll come across a big old rat. He’s very easy to avoid if you jump up into the little section of pipe that goes above. You can go down the other side and keep going left. Jump up through the top and you’ll be inside a dark room inside the factory.
The Factory
Machine Room
Go to the left until you arrive in front of the master engine panel. You’ll see three levers on the engine, all of which are in the up position. Adjust the lever on the left side so that it is halfway between down and up. You will see that the green light over the lever will illuminate. Repeat this process with both the middle and the right levers. Once you have all three levers in the correct positions, the main lights in the room turn on and the engine begins to move.
Head over to the right side of the room and jump up on the boxes. Next get up to the left onto the platform and then on top of the barrels. Jump onto the mechanical arm when it passes by. When you arrive at the platform on the right, leap off and go into the open vent.
Vent
The vent is a series of dark passageways that connect different rooms inside the Factory. Lost? You can use the blueprints that you found out on the roof. Go down to the left and go forward until you run into a part of the passage that is covered in ice and snow. Go through the icy passageway and back down the other side After a few more steps you’ll see some wire cutters on the floor. Run over them to pick them up. Keep going down and to the right and you will arrive at another grate in the vent. Click on it to go through.
Security System
When you enter the room, you’ll see a security system sign and it’s enabled. Jump down onto the floor and very quickly a flying security robot will find you and then zap you. After you’ve been zapped, you’ll be transported to a new room. You’ll see a panel above and to the right marked as the security system. Click on that to use the wire cutters. Cut all three wires red, green and yellow to disable the system. Now go to the right and jump up to the top where there is a grate you can exit to go back into the Vent.
Packing Room
Jump up into the vent and head up and to the right. You should quickly come to a new vent grate. Go inside to enter the carrot packing room. The first obstacle you’ll face in here are chutes with crates of carrots that drop through. To get through this, go past one chute at a time. The crates come in groups of different numbers. It’s not too difficult to determine the patterns if you are patient as you go past. When you get past the chutes, go to the right and drop to the floor. then head over to the left of the room.
Talk to the woman wearing the rabbit ears and glasses and tell her to look behind her You’ll see a close-up of the top of the rabbit ears. Click the button on the ears and the hypnotic power will be disabled. The woman will retrieve a printout that gives you a password. Next go to the left and return to the grate that you entered the room from. Head back into the vent passageway.
Return to the Security Robot Room
And now you need to go through the vents and return to the security room where you were zapped by the security robot.
The robot will not zap you this time because the security system has been disabled. Go to the bottom right where you see a doorway and a sign that says, “Authorized Bunny Drones Only.” When you try to go through the door, you will drop through a trap door in the ground because you are not an authorized bunny drone. Don’t worry because the next step is to become one. After going through the trap door in the floor, you’ll land in another room in the factory. Drop down to the left and you will end up on a moving conveyer belt. Move to the right, taking care to not get squished by the carrot smashing presses in this room. There’s also some hot carrot juice that comes out that will burn you if you get hit. After you avoid these obstacles, leap up onto the platform and you’ll spot a mechanical bunny ears hat just like the girl in the other room was wearing. Pick it up to put it in your backpack. Go ahead and put them on now and then go through the Exit.
Next you’ll return to the secuirty robot room. Now, while you’re wearing the bunny drone ears, go back to the big doorway. This time, you’re authorized and you can get inside.
Dr. Hare
When you arrive in the next area, you’ll see the villain Dr. Hare. Thinking you’re one of his rabbit ear wearing drones, he’ll give you commands to start the launch of his rocket. Jump up the spaceship. You’ll see a big platform on the right. It has a computer and there is a technician standing next to it. He’s wearing the drone ears. Talk to him and choose the option, “Look a giant bunny!” You’ll zoom in on his ears. Turn them off by clicking on the power button on the ears. You then want to click on the computer. You’ll get a prompt for the password. Enter “fuzzybunny”. Now the computer asks you to give it a command. The correct command is “launch rabbot”. Remember to spell it with an o and not an i. The Rabbot is the giant spaceship robot that Dr. Hare has built.
Next, the rocket will launch and you can control it using the computer. Your goal is to crash the rocket into the asteroids that you see on the screen. Each time you hit one, Dr. Hare will yell at you. After you hit four asteroids, the robot spaceship will explode and Dr. Hare will fly off into space. You did it! Now follow the guy up the rope and out of the factory.
You’ll be back in the main area standing in front of the gas station, but now 24 Carrot Island is bright and cheery again. Walk to the left where you’ll find the Mayor of 24 Carrot Island. He’ll hand you the medallion for completing the island and defeating Dr. Hare.
